Does Clubhouse ever stop talking NFTs?
Short answer - no. And it shouldn’t. Talk of NFTs is hot right now, as publishing art on the blockchain is a revolutionary technological advancement. Because of the immutable nature of non-fungible tokens, art is entering a new era of ownership, patronage, and art collecting, and communities are gathering to make the most of the conversation about NFTs and cryptoart in the number of Clubhouse rooms out there.
What is Clubhouse?
The world is a big place. But it's not always easy to find people who share your interests or get your passion for art and technology. Clubhouse is a growing social network that lets you connect with others in real-time through voice chat—no matter where they are in the world. You can talk about anything from sports to politics to family life to NFTs, and get advice on any topic imaginable. It’s like having friends all over the globe without ever leaving your home.
Although new, Clubhouse has gained a reasonable amount of popularity, as internationally famous people like Elon Musk started dropping in on chats hosted on the platform. Because of its ease of use, and the recognition from big names in the blockchain space, Clubhouse has become a starting point for some of the most important debates in the crypto space.
Why are NFTs taking over the Clubhouse space?
NFTs are taking over the Clubhouse space and we love it. NFTs are blockchain-based tokens that represent ownership of a particular asset. They can be anything from in-game items, to art pieces, to collectibles like trading cards. What makes them so special is they can't be copied or faked by any means - meaning you're getting guaranteed authenticity and security that your purchase is the real thing.
One of the biggest influences for NFTs to become such a point of interest is the latest sales that happened - Beeple sold a piece for 69 million dollars - if that’s not a conversation starter, we don’t know what is.
Because of the huge surge in interest regarding NFTs in the past couple of months Clubhouse has become a collection of groups talking about art on the blockchain.
If you’re not on Clubhouse, you’re missing out.
