What is Minty.Art?
“At Minty, we are powering creativity for the next generation of artists.”
We believe in using blockchain technology in innovative ways to empower both artists and collectors, revolutionizing the way modern-day art is created, bought, and sold. Minty is a platform that supports, democratizes, and modernizes art creation, and by reinventing patronage for the digital age, we have created a way of connecting collectors and patrons to the art and artists they support.

Sotheby’s Auction House
One of the world's largest brokers of fine art, jewellery, real estate and collectables, Sotheby’s @Sothebys, is planning to incorporate NFTs onto its platform. Sotheby’s announced last week they’ll be collaborating with digital artist Pak @muratpak in their first NFT sale.
In a recent press release, Sotheby’s stated "This is just the first step for us, and we want to smartly and strategically look at how we can not only enter the digital art sphere but create a bridge from digital art to our auction business". Sotheby’s have not revealed further details about its plans to incorporate digital artists, however, they stated they have “plans to bring in more digital artists in the months to come”.
Jack Dorsey’s $2.5M Tweet
Earlier this month, the CEO of Twitter Jack Dorsey @jack announced that he would be selling the first-ever Tweet as an NFT. Jack Dorsey, a well-known cryptocurrency fan, published his first post on the Twitter platform 15 years ago, on March 21st, 2006.
The bidding war for the tweet, “just setting up my twttr” between collectors Justin Sun @justinsuntron and Estavi @sinaEstavi finally came to an end, with the highest bid placed at $2,500,000.00 (Ξ 1401). To see more information about the auction, visit the valuables page here.

Time Magazine NFTs Covers
American news magazine TIME @TIME is set to auction three NFTs inspired by one of their most iconic magazine covers, as well as an original cover created especially for the auction. As the popularity of NFTs continues to grow, to see big names like Time Magazine become involved with the NFT space is reassuring to both artists and collectors.
Inspired by the “Is God Dead?” cover from April 8, 1966, the NFT collection features three original pieces with the text, “Is Fiat Dead?” with the USD symbol replacing the question mark. To see more information about the auction, visit the listing page here.
Michael Schwartz’s Face of Tacheles
Celebrity and fashion photographer Michael Schwartz @MSchwartzPhoto is delving into the world of NFTs by releasing his first crypto art project titled ‘Face of Tacheles’. The piece features the street artwork in the legendary art collective Tacheles in the Mitte district of Berlin.
The artwork is a unique 1 of 1 photo taken in 2009 by Schwartz whilst in Berlin for a Vogue shoot. To see more information about the auction, visit Schwartz’s foundation page here.
