NFTs: The Web3 Passes for Brands Long Term Loyalty
Despite the bear market, the NFT trend has only started. Anticipate an expansion in brands adopting the Web3 movement to interact with their customers, build long-term loyalty, & novel experiences.
Several brands have realized the potential of NFTs and utilized them to their fullest, delivering interactive experiences and novel forms of engagement. Those that have flourished have earned significant profits (the initial Adidas drop of 30,000 NFTs ‘Into the Metaverse’ collection in December 2021, sold out and generated over US$22 million) and consigned traditional "promotional campaigns" to the Archives folder.
Although numerous brands have yet to prove that their NFTs were not a financial grab, successful ones have unified individuals or merged offline and online features with actual worth and meaningful utility for consumers.
Despite the fluctuating cryptocurrency market and a sluggish economy, brands have found in NFTs a definitive game-changing tool that empowers and aligns both parties of a commercial relationship; brands obtain long-lasting loyalty while users receive blockchain-provable and immutable ownership and monetization.
